History

Since they were established, the Adventist Hospitals in Asuncion and Hohenau have always given assistance and support to the needy.

Hoping to touch the lives of more people and to better organize their commitment to social work, both institutions have joined forces to create an organization called Fundacion Sanatorio Adventista (Adventist Hospital Foundation).

It was on September 27th, 2005 that the constituent assembly met, and on February 28th, 2007 the President of the Republic of Paraguay signed decree (law) Nº 9.155, giving the legal capacity to the Fundacion.

Since then, the Fundacion has organized different community service activities and has collected volunteers and promoted organizations that offer assistance.
